CttC Special Ending - Memories are just that....The lone sleeping chamber sitting in the middle of the brightly lit room hummed lowly as it had for the past five months. The contents of the chamber could not be seen. There was no description, but many knew what that egg-like structure contained. A black robed girl walked toward the chamber, her boots echoing loudly in the nearly-empty room. With a black glove, she reached out a hand and touched it gingerly. "Sora It's been a month since I've visited you. He's wonderful, your other but it's just it's not the same." She put her hooded head against the wall of the chamber. "I know you won't remember me but I can't wait to see you again. Next time, we'll be friends for sure."
"Who are you??" a voice called out. The girl started, turning around. In a similar black robe a boy stood, his long white hair hanging around his face and his eyes blindfolded. She could see past it, though, using her senses, looking past the large, dark aura around him, and saw b
Connected to the Chain - Pt XIMarluxia faded away. "Did we win?" Goofy asked. Sora turned with a smile and thumbs up. Xanarian and, as she could see, Naminé, knew better.
"You could say that." Marluxia's voice echoed in the room. Marluxia appeared before them and Xanarian finally understood. "Of course," she sighed. "Stupid me "
"What you destroyed was merely an illusion of me," Marluxia explained.
"So what?" Riku charged to attack, but when his sword made contact, flowers scattered everywhere. Marluxia was nowhere to be found. "Another imitation," Riku spat angrily.
"He hasn't moved from that spot," she said shaking her head. "This entire time he's been in there." She looked to the double doors and sighed. "And I didn't even notice. Some help you are "
"I can feel his power," Sora said staring at the same door. "It's trying to destroy my heart."
"Don't worry," Goofy said. "We'll just take care of him together!!"
"Sora, come on!!" Donald added.
Sora turned to Riku. "I want you to protect
Connected to the Chain - Pt XAttacks in fast progression, walls of fire that spread throughout the whole room, the sharp blades of a Chakram cutting through flesh. Axel was a tough customer, and Xanarian saw that he had been holding back the first time. Sora was holding his own, however, the match with Javelin clearly showing from her perspective. Still, Xanarian wanted nothing more than for Axel to leave as Marluxia and Naminé did, using the distraction to undoubtedly devise a plan. "You're wasting our time," she sighed. "Please just go Axel!!" she screamed. Sora had unleashed the magic attack from last time, the light of his heart blinding her once again. It took a while for her eyes to readjust, but when she could see again, Axel was still fighting, but clearly on his last legs. Xanarian was begging him to go. Finally, Axel fell to his knees.
"You're better than I thought you'd be," he managed to get out. "It was worth saving you after all!"
"Saving me? What do you mean?" Sora was clearly confused.
Connected to the Chain - Pt IXThe only reason Xanarian knew Javelin left her side was the rush of wind from its jump. She lightened the shadows a tiny bit, and Javelin landed right in front of Sora, its lance causing a shockwave that disoriented Sora and his companions for a second before readying for a fight. Xanarian couldn't smile. On one side, she was looking at Sora rooting for him to win. On the other hand, Javelin was the best specimen she had ever created, and felt sorry that its life would be so short lived.
Javelin was doing his part well, his attacks in quick succession, winds picking up as he whirled his spear. His jumps made him unreachable and the shockwaves from his landing dealt damage to all three companions. Sora, she knew, was getting frustrated, and she started as she saw his Keyblade shine a brief second. He moved like lightning, each pass at Javelin slicing the Heartless. Goofy and Donald did their part as well, Goofy twirling with his shield, knocking the Heartless around and Donald shooting
Connected to the Chain - Pt VIIIXanarian dragged Javelin along the shadows, trying her best to not be a little freaked out by his resemblance to that man from earlier. I wonder why I picked that form. She looked back at Javelin, and Javelin looked back, its yellow eyes showing no emotion. Sighing, she gripped its hand tighter, finding her way back to Castle Oblivion.
"Larxene again?" Larxene and Sora were fighting for a second time, and Xanarian was surprised to see Naminé sitting there, watching over a broken Riku. There's nothing there anymore, she thought to herself. It made her sad. The only Riku she knew was lying there dead.
Larxene was out for blood in the same fashion as Vexen was before, but since it was Larxene, she had faith in Sora's capabilities. She was surprised, however, as Larxene was utterly defeated, and faded away. She had imagined Larxene's disappearance before and figured she'd be happy, but she felt nothing. Nothing at all. All she could do was stare at Sora. "How strong
Connected to the Chain Omake - Disconnected"Xemnas, a word." Saix appeared in Xemnas' chambers, pulling back his hood and revealing his bright blue hair. Xemnas didn't look up from his paper, writing and looking over various reports. There was a gauge on his desk, a dark liquid floating in an orb, its volume fluctuating. "Roxas has been showing progress, but how soon do you want to get him acquainted with Xanarian? I assume they haven't met. I thought his primary job would be to help her capture more hearts."
"I'm aware of that," he said still not looking up. "However I will make sure they are adequately acquainted with when she returns from Castle Oblivion. Sora is there now."
"Ah," Saix nodded. "Your test. Axel is already involved, I don't see the point "
Xemnas looked at him and Saix fell silent. "You say that you trust Axel?"
"I say that Axel has shown no reason to suspect foul play," he replied calmly. "Unless you have anything to the contrary, Xanarian should focus her attention "
"You are not in charge of those
Connected to the Chain - Pt VIIXanarian walked the streets of The World that Never Was breathing the eternal night's air and staring at the heart-shaped moon, her Kingdom Hearts, with pride. It was a mandate: Xanarian was not allowed to travel to the castle by shadow, but instead to enter like everyone else. Xanarian didn't mind, in fact, she enjoyed being on the streets. Of course, with her there, heartless were everywhere, like friends welcoming her home. She kept walking, the heartless walking around her. "Enough," she sighed. They all stopped. "I have important business and you're slowing me down. Please go back." All the Heartless went away. She ran toward the castle, nearly knocking over a boy. He wore a coat just like an Org. member, and his blond hair was spiked up, blue eyes wide in surprise.
"Oh, sorry," she said running in place.
"No problem," he said askance. "Never seen you before."
"Same here. Name's Xanarian," she said stopping.
"Xanarian the name's Roxas," he replied.
"Nice to meet y
Connected to the Chain - Pt VIWith Sora still in the back of her head (courtesy of the shadow tentacle she tied to his shadow), Xanarian kept herself glued to Marluxia and company, hoping, waiting for something to bring that smug look off of the Nobody's face. Her investigation into the reason behind Sora's appearance started to evolve into a vengeful mission to bring Marluxia down once and for all. She didn't care. If she was lucky, it would all be the same thing by the time it was over.
Vexen was serious as he fought Sora, and Xanarian bit her lip. Vexen was no pushover, and as one of the original members of the Organization, she was fully aware of his power and his cold, calculating style. In fact, Sora had a bit of a hard time, but managed to defeat Vexen. Well, that wasn't quite right. Vexen was done with his assessment of Sora, and decided to let him move forward.
"I was delving deep into your memory as we fought, and here Look what I found," the chilly scientist smiled as he held up a strange card. The
